Have you got a fallen tree?
Or just too many trees covering your property?
While greenery is a vital part of every landscape, too much can be difficult to maintain, and dangerous. Trees can also get in the way when you want to do other things with your yard or space.
A lot of the time we see tall trees that are hazardous to homes and other properties. If a large storm comes through, these trees have the potential to cause severe damage. Not to mention, the root system can go soft with age, decay or pests, making it even more of a liability.
Sometimes councils will send notices for such trees to be cut or removed entirely. Tree removing isn’t just about cutting a few branches. It is important to enlist a professional service to remove right down to the roots, and to clean up and dispose of the mess that removing a large tree leaves behind.
JG Arbor are experienced in tree removing of large and small trees, and our team have the expertise and skill to make this an efficient process. When you work with us you get 15 years of industry experience and a dedication to making your property safe and aesthetically pleasing.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a single trunk, or a full property thin out, we promise to deliver the best quality service at the most competitive prices.

When it comes to pruning and maintaining your trees, there are a number of different options available. Our qualified arborist will let you know which solution is best for you.
The different techniques include:
Crown Reducing and Shaping – tree foliage can be reduced around the top section to shape the tree, remove heavy limbs, and allow more light into the body of the tree. This process encourages healthier growth, and a more attractive tree shape. It also reduces wind resistance, and therefore risk from lost branches and toppling.
Thinning – Sometimes trees become too thick all over and can start to block out the light to other elements in your garden, or from surrounding buildings. When thinning is employed, the overall size of the tree isn’t changed, but the internal foliage is reduced to allow extra light to filter through. This is done be removing smaller cross branches. This method also reduces wind resistance for storm protection.
Crown Lifting or Raising – In this method, the lower branches are removed to give more clearance at ground level to avoid obstruction. This is useful when trees overhang walkways, driveways, and buildings. The height of the tree doesn’t change, but the mid section is reduced. Other plants underneath and around the tree will receive more light and will grow more easily.
Dead Wooding – When parts of the tree die, these parts need to be removed to maintain healthy growth and appearance. Dead limbs are a normal part of tree growth, but they can sometimes appear in greater quantity if there are pests or disease present in the tree. We can also check this for you.
Palm Tree Maintenance – Anyone who has palms will know they require a bit of maintenance. They produce heavy seedpods that create a mess in your yard, or can fall on people below causing a hazard. Pods should be pruned before they start to open. Not to mention, all those dead fronds should be pruned to keep your tree looking healthier and your yard looking tidy.
JG Arbor have extensive experience in pruning native and garden species. We value the life of every tree, and want to make sure they are happy and healthy.

Or we can deliver mulch to you.
Repurposing an old tree into mulch is excellent for the environment as it gives new life to natural materials, which would otherwise end up in landfill.
Mulching is also a great way to protect soil from the elements and maintain a healthy balance of moisture and bacteria in your soil. When you plant new trees and flowers, mulching helps plants acclimatise and promotes stronger growth.
Benefits of our tree mulching services include:
We use a good quality wood chipper to transform trees into mulch, and only make mulch from trees that are free of foreign objects and dirt.
